Johnathon
Managing Director
Johnathon lives and breathes boats, when he is not in the workshop or fixing a customer’s boat he is on the water. Born in Jersey, Johnathon has grown up with boats, his career began at age 17 with a Marine Engineering apprenticeship with a reputable island firm.
He successfully completed 16 years with the company and attended all Volvo Penta, Perkins Sabre and MAN training courses to keep him abreast of industry and manufacturer changes and to ensure the clients needs were always being met. From there Johnathon established Seapower Marine with the goal of not only providing exceptional knowledge, but superior customer service to boot! Johnathon won the IoD Start Up Director of the Year award in 2018.

Ben
Marine Engineer & Warranty Manager
Ben is another in the team whose heart is firmly in the sea. Ben is an avid surfer and fisherman so working on boats comes naturally.
Having started his career as a car mechanic, Ben soon switched across to marine and after completing a brief transitional training course with a local marine engineering company, Ben was marine ready. Over the years Ben has completed numerous Volvo Penta and Evinrude outboard courses, helping him to increase his knowledge and fault find engine problems with ease. Engine electronics and diagnostics are a favourite of Ben’s and he continues to represent Seapower Marine at all Volvo Penta training courses.

Rhees
Marine Engineer
Rhees began his extensive career in the marine industry back in 1992. Through working with various engineering companies around the island, he picked up the trade rapidly.
After committing himself to the profession for over two decades, Rhees offered his unique skill set to the RNLI by volunteering on their All-Weather Lifeboat, and later accepted a two-year full-time mechanics position. Boats have always been a passion for Rhees, who spends his spare time on his own vessel and takes part in a variety of water sports, including windsurfing, scuba diving and spearfishing.

Mark
Maintenance Manager
Mark started working in the Marine industry at the age of 16 as a shipwright in a local boatyard, before spending 10 years working for Fairline.
For the last few years, Mark ran his own Marine business before joining our team here at Seapower running the Maintenance Department. Mark brings a wealth of experience and knowledge which is useful across many aspects of the Marine industry. In his free time, he loves being out on his own boat, especially visiting the Minquiers. He also likes the occasional impromptu fishing trips with the team!

Ross
Shipwright & Maintenance Technician
Ross is the new member of our maintenance department. Born in Cornwall, Ross grew up by the sea and has always enjoyed being by the seaside.
He spent 3 years travelling, enjoying his time as a shipwright in Sydney’s Northern Beaches. Ross completed a Wooden Boat Building and Repair course in Suffolk back in 2014 before moving to Jersey. He is an avid angler and enjoys playing cricket in the Summer. Ross is looking forward to joining Team Seapower and furthering his Marine experience here in Jersey.

Chris
Marine Electronics Engineer
Chris works in our new Marine Electronics department. Born in North Yorkshire, Chris spent the last 5 Summers working as a Scuba Diving Instructor in Malta and spent his Winters snowboarding in the Mountains.
However, he has now decided to settle down to Island life. Chris is currently studying towards a Diploma in Electrical Engineering, applying his knowledge to the boating world and is keen to grow within the company. Chris enjoys all aspects of the water in his free time from being on boats to being under them in the water teaching Scuba Diving at Bouley Bay Dive Centre in his free time!

Pawel
Marine Engineer
Pawel (Pav) was born in Poland and arrived in Jersey 16 years ago. From a young boy, he was always fascinated by engineering and enjoyed building model planes powered by engines.
In 2000, Pawel qualified as a Motor Vehicle Mechanic. After arriving in Jersey he fell in love with the Island and decided to stay, owning his own vehicle repair garage for a few years. Pawel takes as much from life as possible enjoying scuba diving, paragliding, skydiving, rock climbing, to name a few, in his spare time. He is very much looking forward to gaining new skills and further improving his engineering work at Seapower Marine Jersey.

Peter
Marine Engineer
Jersey born Peter has over 15 years experience in the marine trade working with Volvo Penta. Having taken part in numerous Volvo Penta training courses, Peter prides himself in providing a thorough and efficient service.
He takes joy in teaching and training others who are converting to the marine trade. In his spare time, Peter loves travelling to new places and is also a qualified Skydiving instructor with an impressive 2,500 dives under his belt.

Jason
Parts & Sales Manager
Head of Sales and Parts for Seapower Marine. Born in Jersey, Jason decided to follow his passion and leave the world of offshore finance as a Financial Advisor and pursue a career in the Marine Industry.
Jason has a wealth of experience and knowledge with yachts, he brings with him knowledge as an established local Yacht Broker & Boat Technician to managing superyachts for trust companies. You will see Jason out at sea most weekends sailing his yacht or racing in local yacht events and is studying towards his RYA Yacht Master Offshore. For all enquiries relating to engines and parts for your Power Boat or Sailing Yacht, Jason is here to help.

Emily
Accounts Manager
Emily was born in Jersey and attended Jersey College for Girls. She joined Seapower Marine in May 2019 and is currently studying for her CAT qualification.
At work, Emily is responsible for all the bookkeeping and HR duties. In her spare time, Emily enjoys travelling, going for walks, and looking after her two precious cats!

Krzysztof
Marine Engineer
Krzysztof Gorski is our talented marine technician. Professionally certified by leading technician regulations. Always happy to help with any technical job that comes in the shop.
At work, Emily is responsible for all the bookkeeping and HR duties. In her spare time, Emily enjoys travelling, going for walks, and looking after her two precious cats!
